QBO Tips and Tricks Part 1

Scaling New Heights, QuickBooks Labs:  Import style feature, 5 for $5

Scaling New Heights

We are excited to bring you on another adventure!  Yes folks, there is another conference coming up.  It is on June 16-19th.  What is super-exciting is that my partner, Matthew Fulton of Parkway Business Solutions,  will be speaking at a panel there.  See this link if you would like to attend.  And, my other partner, Sarah Prevost, will be on the same panel!  So happy for both of them!  We will have a ton of video and live streaming happening.  Stay tuned!

QuickBooks 5 for $5 deal

As mentioned in our "Starting out as a new ProAdvisor" series 2 weeks ago, there is so much value in becoming a ProAdvisor.  This 5 for $5 is certainly part of it.  Not sure how long this deal will be around, but you will not see this any cheaper.  You get five QBO plus accounts for $5 each!  This deal is for 24 mos.  Then the pricing returns to whatever the wholesale pricing is at the time.  I jump all over these deals when they happen.  I save one $5/mo. account for a sample file (which you see in videos) and I use one for testing when I am doing the larger rebuilds.  See our series Starting out as a new ProAdvisor.

QuickBooks Labs:  Import Style

Let your creativity shine here!  I love this feature (note to Intuit:  Please add it!) I was able to create an exact duplicate of an invoice from PC Law to QuickBooks Online Advanced with just some simple mapping and creative headers.  You can easily manipulate the data and fields to work for any client.  It is a sweet feature that if you don't know where it is, you won't see it!  There is also Gmail for QBO.  See this post.
